This charming 1920's cottage has been updated to offer you the best of views and comfort available in the Hickory Nut gorge area. Within walking distance to Chimney Rock Village, shopping, fishing and mini golf. You'll enjoy a newly remodeled cottage with central heat/air, cable TV , 2 bedrooms, full bath, large living room and dining area, updated kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and cabinets stocked with all the cooking and eating utensils you will need. Riverview porch with gas grill is also included. Towels and sheets are furnished.
NO smoking inside cottages.
PETS........We do allow a well behaved small dog in Hick'ry Nut #1. We require the dog to be potty trained and be current on all shots. There is a $20. daily charge or $100. weekly charge. Guests are responsible for any damages.

Adorable Cottage in Lake Lure
This 2 bedroom 2 bath vacation rental cottage is the perfect getaway for people that want a quiet retreat that is close to everything in the mountains of western NC! This adorable cottage is located by the 9th hole of Lake Lure Golf Course, so bring your clubs for a round or two of golf. The cottage is equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy a few days or a week or two. You'll enjoy a large beautifully landscape yard in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks and nature loving. You do get frequent visitors here. Birds, turkeys, and of course our deer friends. The large patio is perfect for a picnic with the gas grill and picnic table. Or maybe you want to enjoy a quiet evening outside, sipping glass of wine and gazing at the stars.
Main level has a charming living room w/ fireplace & cable TV, fully equipped kitchen w/table and chairs and a bath with shower.
Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms. One has a king bed, sitting area with couch, and a private porch. The other bedroom has a queen bed and a seperate entrance patio with a putting green. There is a full bath with tub/shower upstairs.
Sleeps 4-6, All kitchen cooking and eating utensils are supplied. Bath soaps, towels and bed sheets sheets are furnished.
